Our Story
Canissage was born from over seven decades of therapeutic innovation within our parent company, Niagara Healthcare. For more than 60 years, we’ve been developing advanced cycloidal vibration therapy used Equine health, performance and recovery, as well as for human use in hospitals, care homes, and rehabilitation centres to support people’s mobility, comfort, and recovery.
After seeing the incredible results in human and equine therapy, we asked ourselves a simple question "why shouldn’t dogs benefit too?" So, we took our proven technology and adapted it specifically for canine needs. The result is Canissage: a breakthrough in dog wellbeing, offering trusted, non-invasive therapy that fits naturally into everyday life.
Proudly developed and manufactured in the UK, Canissage combines medical-grade technology with our genuine love for animals. We created it to help dogs stay mobile, comfortable, and pain-free without relying solely on medication.

Our Technology and Approach
At the heart of every Canissage product is our Cyclo-Vibration Therapy called NHC Cyclo-Therapy® a unique three-dimensional vibration technology originally for human medical use. Unlike simple linear vibration, our therapy creates a gentle, circular motion that penetrates deep into muscle tissue, improving circulation, easing tension, and supporting natural healing, all without drugs or invasive treatment.

NHC Cyclo-Therapy® is a unique three-dimensional vibration generated by a sinusoidal electromechanical oscillator. It is incorporated into various unique products manufactured in the UK and registered as a class IIa medical device.
